Cool 90s Things That You Can Be Nostalgic About Instead Of Good Burger

It’s Fuck Good Burger Week here at Kill Pretty, and all of our writers and editors are dedicating their energy to reminding you how bad the movie and TV show Good Burger was. We thought about calling it “Bad Burger Week,” but that’s just as bad as the actual nostalgia surrounding Good Burger. Think about it, would you pay $30 for a Good Burger experience? Do you need your picture taken in front of a bad mock up of the All That logo? No way! You need to give that money to us.

What a time to be alive, the 1990s were the last decade without cell phones and the first with a sexy Al Gore vice presidency. If you’re nostalgic for the horrendous movie Good Burger here are five things from the ‘90s that you should actually be reminiscent about.

1 The Presidency of George H.W. Bush

Even though his politics were a drag, he still threw up in a Japanese Prime Minister’s lap towards the end of his time in office and that’s funnier than anything that ever happened in Good Burger.

2 The 1993 Storm of the Century

Don’t you wish storms were still this big? They’re so small now!

3 The Stand miniseries on ABC

For 134 hours in 1994, families were riveted by the story of Gary Stand and his fight against “Jaunty Steve,” the deadly virus with a heart of gold. Viewing wasn’t required, but you’d look like a real idiot at the water cooler the next day if you missed one of the 74 episodes.

4 The Minnesota Twins win the World Series against the Atlanta Braves.

Even if you’re not a sports fan you have to be nostalgic for that game winning play where every member of the Minnesota Twins ganged up on the Atlanta Braves and ripped them limb from limb.

5 The Unabomber Was Finally Arrested In 1996

Don’t you remember the fun of getting together with your friends and family to look for clues about the Unabomber? Thanks to modern GPS tracking we won’t be doing that again any time soon.
